Baycox® 2.5% in Poultry

Coccidiosis is an important disease in poultry. There are different ways to prevent the disease such as vaccination, flock management and various medication strategies with anticoccidials.  However, outbreaks of coccidiosis can still occur, resulting in the need for an effective product to treat them.

Baycox® sets new standards for the treatment of coccidiosis in poultry. It is distinguished by several features which make it a highly effective therapeutic agent:

  • Baycox® is effective against all important Eimeria species in poultry.
  • Baycox® controls all intracellular stages of coccidia.
  • Baycox® does not interfere with the development of immunity.
  • Baycox® is fast acting.
  • Baycox® is compatible with most commonly used feed additives and medications.
  • Baycox® does not reduce feed and water intake.
  • Baycox® does not depress growth rate and feed conversion.
  • Baycox® requires shorter duration of treatment (two days) and can be administered at any stage of infection (advanced stage of infection)

Baycox® has been used not only during clinical outbreaks of coccidiosis, but also as a strategic methaphylactic treatment to prevent the appearance of subclinical coccidiosis, as a postvaccinal treatment and lately as a stand-alone treatment.

Baycox® represents the most effective “solution” to coccidiosis.
